The race for the second place

I was wondering, which country would take the "honorable" spot of being the second Islamic country, after Pakistan, to possess nuclear weapons.
I have two likely candidates:
One is Iran, an orthodox Islamic state, which in defiance of international community, feverishly tries to achieve nuclear weapons. The other is France, which already possesses nuclear weapons, but not yet became officially Islamic.
Who would you bet on?

Iran. It's already on the way; whereas, France has some time before it becomes Islamic. : (

Clearly Iran, but your point about the slow transformation for France to an Islamic republic I feel will be stopped. The French may be meek folks who don’t stand up to anything, but I doubt they will hand over their country to islamists when push comes to shove.
